Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at reformdetailing@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Paint correction is the process of permanently removing imperfections from your vehicle’s paintwork, including swirl marks, light scratches, oxidation, and haze. This is done through machine polishing to restore clarity and gloss.

Not always. While we can remove a large percentage of defects, deeper scratches that have gone through the clear coat may not be fully removable. We always aim for the best possible result while preserving your paint safely.

Depending on the package, you can typically expect between 70%–95% defect removal. Results vary based on your vehicle’s paint condition.

Most paint correction services take between 1–2 days, depending on the level of correction required and the condition of the vehicle.

A polish (or enhancement) improves gloss and removes light imperfections. Paint correction is a more intensive process designed to remove deeper defects and achieve a higher level of finish.

Yes — because defects are permanently removed, not hidden. However, proper maintenance is important to keep your paint looking its best.

It’s highly recommended. After correction, your paint is at its best condition — applying a ceramic coating helps protect the finish and makes ongoing maintenance much easier.

Paint correction is not something you do regularly. Because it removes a small layer of clear coat, it should only be done when needed.

Absolutely. Paint correction can improve presentation, attract more buyers, and help you achieve a higher sale price.

In many cases, yes. Paint correction can significantly improve or restore oxidised and faded paint, depending on severity.
